ONOFF handlebars, both in alloy and carbon versions, have no maximum user weight. In spite of this, for the HELIUM range handlebars, it is recommended not to exceed 110kg in order not to reduce their life cycle. It is important to remember that although the handlebars are not restricted by the user’s weight, they are by the kind of use, as stated on the ASTM regulations.
The setup of bicycle handlebars is an easy procedure, although we recommend that it is made by a qualified professional. It is highly recommended to revise the following checkpoints before using ONOFF handlebars for the first time after their setup:
- Check the tightening torques recommended for the stem cap, brake and gear levers, and grips.
- Check that the handlebar ends are equidistant to the middle of the stem.
- Check that the setup angle of the handlebar is the right one for our riding position, being this a very personal decision.
